"When you learn, teach, when you get, give." — Dr. Maya Angelou.

Dr. Angelou’s profound thought underscores the importance of giving back to the society — an act that is part of WNS' DNA as a socially-responsible organization. Since its inception in 2011, the WNS Cares Foundation (WCF) has embodied the joy of giving back to the communities around us.

At WCF, we strongly believe that education is the most powerful investment one can make for the future. Over the years, WCF has used education as an enabler to empower underprivileged youth and children across the globe. Driven by its mission to ‘Educate, Empower and Enrich,’ WCF continues to help these children and youth create futures shaped by their choices rather than their circumstances.

The ethos of Co-creation, which shapes the work culture at WNS, also finds resonance in WCF’s broad-based initiatives. In order to create an ecosystem built on equitable social growth, WCF collaborates with schools, volunteers and implementation partners to re-define the concept of holistic learning through targeted programs.

These programs are based on a clearly defined social philosophy of helping the less-privileged bridge the chasm between the haves and the have-nots. WCF’s e-school, digital learning centers, mobile libraries, science exhibitions, math Olympiads, curriculum-based learning and multiple other programs, help impact over 100,000 children across WNS locations around the world.

The story of WCF is proudly told by every employee at WNS, because it is their own story of making a difference.

Our inspiration continues to be our vision of Co-Creating Lives: to reach out to children and young people, widen their horizons and empower them to follow their dreams.

Looking at the reach and impact of WNS Cares Foundation (WCF) globally, it is truly heart-warming to see how our small beginnings have grown into a worldwide movement.

In country after country, we try to understand and respond to the felt needs of communities, with a focus on empowering children.

Co-creating Lives is the vision that inspires us; we co-create with teachers, parents, NGOs and our own volunteers from WNS, pooling in our skills and experiences, and working together to achieve a shared goal.

While many initiatives are designed to enhance learning outcomes, WCF is always looking beyond the classroom - to ensure holistic development of children and empower them to achieve sustainable livelihoods.

Every program and initiative is fuelled by the passionate involvement of our volunteers. Their consistent and dedicated efforts enable us to offer activities that range from science exhibitions to leadership programs to Cyber Sword, our cyber security campaign.

It is satisfying that we have positively impacted over 100,000 children across the globe. Now, we intend to build on the solid foundation and co-create more deeply and cohesively — for the development of communities around us and society as a whole.
